![]() Next, we have the diggers armed with shovels they can dig scrap and food faster than others while also providing basic melee to clear mutant eggs or getting rid of debris. Not only do they build faster than usual, but they also provide the skills to operate turrets and machines like a cement mill. Normal survivors can do everything at a normal level, but upgrading buildings and researching will require engineers. The different types of survivors come in as the base gets more complex, the need for different specialties. The more you expand, the more those buildings can be upgraded too. Each time you clear a zone, new buildings will be available each time. As you clear debris, the ability to build walls further outcomes next. This is the main thing that is needed to be defended. The first thing that needs to be built in the generator, which if destroyed, the run is failed, requiring you to start over again. Main resources in the game are used to build, upgrade, and pay people to get stuff done. From here, you must guide your men to clear out random objects and boxes for scrap. You get a few survivors to start off when you’re thrust into the subway on an engine rail cart. You’ll be playing a character that has to issue orders around them to get things done while also being the main person who explores and gives commands to either repair, gather, or fight. It takes place mainly in a subway in which you have to expand and defend two sides of the system. Until We Die is a side-scrolling defense game with a mixture of strategy and survival. We don’t know how long we’ll last, but we’ll keep going until we die. We must quickly get defenses up and obtain the necessary tools to expand to survive. The mutants have overrun everything, but it may be easier to defend sides down in the subway. The subway systems are safer than being above ground at the moment, but not by much.
